What I Loved About Katrin Leblond at Montreal Fashion Week
This week, I went with Line and Arveen to my first fashion show in Montréal!
Katrin Leblond @ Montreal Fashion Week!I thought it would be one of those serious events, but I was very happily surprised:
Katrin Leblond's beautiful spring collection with a "spring" theme! Amazing music, very excentric people and atmosphere. Also I saw bloggers I met previously ModernAntoinette and Fashionista514 who happened to wear one of Leblond's designs!
The Show started with some funk-house-trip-hop music, went on with some acrobatic/ gymnastic moves on the cat walk, + there were thin, short, fat, old, all types of models ! It was really superb!
Bravo to Katrin and her team!

It's been a month maybe that I see this scccum poster in the metro , here univertisté de Montréal.
The other day I took some time to go shoot details with my phone.

The expression of the kids, the postures, the eyes, the hats, the little things happening...
They remind me of "Le Petit Nicolas " style by french cartoonist Sempé.
I will definitely blog about Sempé later.

Les Blogueuses et les Zurbaines chez Victoria Park Spa Westmount - Montreal
I was welcomed at Victoria Park Spa by a Zurbaines ( here: Carrie ), I wanted to try the Zumba Classes ...
Yes so that day i had my FLUO Lime Green socks on!
After that,I go up upstairs and do a small tour of the spa with Carrie. She shows me the gym, the massage rooms etc... really classy and zen spa! ( no way to ruin it all with lime green socks! )
Shortly after I start to mingle avec les blogueuses!
Leslie from Kreavie was satisfied with her make up, Kim Vallee was super happy with her manicure, Gabrielle had her usual rosy cheeks relaxed after her massage, Christophe Bergeron was looking for a new job ( He was Redacteur en chef at Voir for 8 years!!! ) and Line was tweeting....
The Food was AMAZING! it was from the gourmet health food café at the ground floor.
I managed to have the waiter throw food in my mouth while i was doing manicure!
Et voila!
These are the gifts from the event , the guimauve and confit de mangue were "terminated" within 3 days. ( Madame Kreavie tu es super ! )

Lebanese Women, Diet, and housekeepers
I just find it funny how old Ashrafiyeh ladies ( or verdun ones ) have fancy brunches and insist on going on a diet.
All my respect to all housekeepers in Lebanon who cope with that.
*Canderel is a brand of sweetener (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canderel) typically used to replace sugar with something less fattening (e.g. 0 calories)
